Your contact information is stored in our database and is only used to contact you during the course of your travel with us for sharing the status of your travel bookings with us and then after for announcement of our latest deals and news etc. We at TRAVEL HOUSE.WORLD condemn the unauthorized reach and misuse and/or discloser of the personal information of the customer and we have strict guidelines and high security features to prevent the same. 

Any changes in our ‘Privacy Policy’ will be posted here on the website. Should the customer require any further information on our ‘Privacy Policy’ please send us an email with ‘Privacy Policy’ written in the subject field in the contact us page. We will ensure reply to the reasonable queries at our earliest possible time.

We have extensive firewall and high end security system to monitor the traffic and financial transaction on our website/s. Any suspicious email, traffic on website and/or financial transaction will be investigated to ensure there is no breach of policy and security. SECURE ONLINE PAYMENTS

The visitor on our website please take a note that your name, email address and other personal information submitted on our website may be stored with us and may also appear on the website. Like other platforms our server log files also receives general information such as IP address of the visitor, cookie etc. For the financial transactions by credit card TRAVEL HOUSE.WORLD uses a 3rd party secure payment gateway provided by Mashreq  and the credit card details are ‘not stored’ with TRAVEL HOUSE.WORLD, instead the information is securely stored and encrypted with Visa/MasterCard. The ‘online credit card payment gateway’ provided by us for our customers is fully PCI-DSS compliant and to transfer information between TRAVEL HOUSE.WORLD and credit card bank we use a 128bit SSL certificate powered by Dialect . It simply means that when the customer makes the transaction using our online payment gateway on our website, these details are being securely stored within Dialect’s fully secure vaults to ensure your information cannot be used by malicious 3rd parties. TRAVEL HOUSE.WORLD and/or its employees cannot view the credit card’s secure information as Dialect truncate your credit card details.

When you make a reservation or book a flight with us, we will process details about your flight, prices and the date of your reservation or booking. We will also process information regarding upgrades, extra baggage, products you purchase, preferred payment method, billing information, transaction and credit information.

Travel details

When you travel with us, we process information in relation to your journey. This includes details on your itinerary, (online) check-in, boarding pass and your travel companions. We will also process details of any medical needs, dietary requests and any additional assistance you require.

Communication details

When you send us an email or chat with us online, we register your communication with us. When you call us, our customer support will register your questions or complaints in our database. We may also record telephone calls for training purposes or to prevent or combat fraud.

Your personal information may be shared with our subsidiary agency

We may disclose your personal information to the following third parties for the purpose described here:

  • Customs and immigration authorities of any country in your itinerary or to which your flight may fly over. Travel House Botswana and other airlines or travel agency are required by laws in the UK, South Africa and other countries to give border control agencies and customs authorities access to booking and travel information when you fly to and from countries including stop-overs and where you may overfly countries to your destination.
  • Airlines and other service providers needed to deliver the services you have asked for where, for instance, part of your travel itinerary involves a flight operated by a different airline or includes car hire or a hotel booking. Those airlines and other service providers will be identified when you make a booking.
  • If you have joined Voyager or another affiliated loyalty program, our partners in these schemes that you have joined so that we can administer the benefits of the loyalty programme to you.
  • Credit and charge card companies, credit reference agencies and anti-fraud screening service providers to process payments and (where necessary) to carry out fraud-screening.
  • In response to a valid, legal request from Government and law enforcement agencies such as customs and immigration authorities.
  • Third party service providers we are using to provide services that involve data processing, for example, to carry out marketing initiatives or run customer surveys on our behalf.

We will actively review the information we hold and delete it securely, or in some cases anonymise it, when there is no longer a legal, business or customer need for it to be retained.
